"Actually worked on both my Windows machines"
I tried pcunlocker.com first on my Windows 10 laptop, mostly expecting I’d run into some annoying boot issue, but it came up fine. Then I figured I’d test it on an old Windows 7 desktop too, and annoyingly enough, it worked there as well. I’ll admit I was a little surprised.

I didn’t really have to dig through settings or tweak much. I just followed the instructions and it found the Windows install without making a fuss. I’m not usually quick to praise this kind of tool, but the compatibility was genuinely useful since my PCs are different ages.

"Worked once I followed the guide"
I was a little hesitant at first because I didn’t want to mess anything up, so I took a few minutes to read through the guide carefully. After that, everything worked like it was supposed to. Straightforward in the end...

"Pretty easy to get through"
PCUnlocker was straightforward to use. The instructions made sense for the most part, and I didn’t really run into any major issues. There was one screen that made me pause for a bit because I wasn’t totally sure what to do next—but then it clicked and I kept going. i expected it to be way more annoying. Overall, it was easy enough and got the job done

"Recovery took forever"
It did the job, I’ll give it that, but the recovery part dragged on way longer than I expected. I was just waiting around for ages and it got frustrating. Not sure I’d want to deal with that again.

"Worked like it was supposed to"
Yeah, this worked fine for me. I was able to make the bootable USB easily... didn’t have to mess around with it much, which was nice...

"Finally got back into my PC"
I somehow managed to forget my Windows password, and then of course I spent a couple hours trying random guesses like that was going to magically work. It did not. I found PCUnlocker, made the boot USB, which took me a minute to figure out, but once that part was done it was straightforward. It reset the password without touching my files, which was the main thing I was worried about. Anyway, small panic over. It definitely saved me a lot of stress...

"License showed up late and setup was a pain"
The license didn’t come through right away, which was annoying because I was ready to use it then and there. Activation also felt like it took forever, even though maybe it wasn’t actually that long, but when you’re waiting on it, it feels worse. It did work in the end, but the whole process was more frustrating than it needed to be.

"Felt safe using it"
I used pcunlocker.com after getting locked out of an old Windows laptop I needed files from. "Support was slow"
I got PCUnlocker because I needed help with this quickly, but the support side was just slow. I sent a message and then kind of sat around waiting, without really getting a clear answer on what was going on.

When they finally got back to me, it felt like they didn’t really read what I had written. Maybe the tool works fine for other people and all that, but for me, the support part was not great.

"Still not totally sure about the data safety stuff"
The app seems fine overall, but I’m still a little unsure about how my data is actually being handled. I was looking through it while drinking coffee this morning, and the explanations just felt kind of vague to me. Nothing seems obviously wrong, but I’d feel better if it were spelled out more clearly.

"I accidentally bought this and had..."
I accidentally bought this and had to ask for a refund. They did end up sending the money back, which was a relief, but it took a few emails and some waiting before I felt sure it was actually being handled. It wasn’t a terrible experience, but I definitely would’ve appreciated a little more reassurance along the way.

"Reliable, and worth it if you need it"
I’ve used PCUnlocker a few times on older Windows machines, and it’s worked every time so far. It booted up without any drama, found the user accounts, and did exactly what I needed without crashing or throwing random errors. The interface definitely looks a little dated, but I’m not too bothered by that if the tool actually works. I’m usually careful about spending money on software, but this saved me enough time and hassle that it felt worth the cost
